Biography
Translippers is the moniker for Arthur Mustafin, a producer, composer and multiinstrumentalist from Saint-Petersburg, Russia. Began in 1984 as a songwriter, bass player and singer in several rock and jazz bands, Arthur changed his musical vision in 2011 with the trip to India, where he seriously got into electronic sound, dub vibes, ethnical instruments. This led to Arthur incorporating these influences into his own production, which significantly transformed his sound and career as a musician. His atmospheric music is a fusion of Dub, Downtempo with samples of ethnical voices and instruments.
† † †As Translippers Arthur produced an album “Herbalism” (2015), his tracks were used in the compilations (2014-2015) released in Russia and Greece.
Since 2013 Arthur is a permanent resident of Russian and European electronic music festivals such as YAGA Gathering (Lithuania), Trimurti (Russia), Systo Solar (Russia), Wicked Forest (Serbia), Chill Out Planet (Russia).
† † †Finding inspiration through travelling in Eastern and European countries, mountains and Asian tropical jungles, Arthur creates in his electronica an entrancing blend of cultures. Psychedelic mix of Oriental rhythms, Reggae vibrations and Indian voices provokes for dancing and awakens the sense of sacred love and harmony of nonmaterial world.†
